As much as I take pleasure in drawing buildings, nothing beats the challenge of drawing a moving person. Harder still, without them knowing about it. Usually I have to just swallow my pride and do it quite blatantly, and usually they find the idea of being sketched flattering, if a bit taken by surprise. My favourite in this series is of a Spanish guitar band, Mala Junto Trio who were playing in Gaudi Park. After they'd finished their set I felt I ought to give them one of the sketches, my mobile number scrawled on the back. Ha! what a sad attempt at being a groupie.
I love the underlined "outside" on the service station one! Lovely drawings, the last one in particular is so intricate, I don't know how you do it! x
