I was happy to find out that I was a winner of the Merrel Publishers illustration competition. This was my entry which I did quickly at the exhibition celebrating 30 years of Japanese Fashion at the Barbican in London. It has already appeared on my blog, but here it is again.

I did a lot of sitting around over the past few days. I didn't have any ink with me so I returned to the faithful pencil. Here are some illustrations of my family over Christmas.

Again, my apologies for very infrequent posts... I decided I needed a break, which I sort of had, but it made me want to start drawing again. Here are some festive scribbles I drew with a kebab skewer. Hope you all have a lovely break and see you in the New Year!

Aussie Bloggers' Market

These are just a few of the photos from the Aussie Bloggers' Market where I got a chance to showcase my illustrations and introduce a concept I have been working on, called Bespoke for the Brain. I had a great time and as usual Uncover Aussie were amazing hosts providing mulled wine, all you can eat buffet (I really tested this) and an opportunity to shine light on my work. Photos were taken by Tobias Alexander Ratcliffe.
